Job Description :


Technologies and Sub Technologies : AEM Selenium Python API/Postman CTM (Contextual Targeting Modules)


Key Responsibilities :


Pre-testing :


Reviewing and analyzing system specifications :


- Understand requirements and translate them into actionable test cases. Identify potential risks and areas for improvement.


Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements.


Developing test plans and strategies :


- Define the scope and approach for testing based on requirements and risks.


- Design test cases covering various functionalities, features, and user journeys.


Test Execution :


Executing test scripts using Selenium :


- Write and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.


- Utilize tools like Postman for API testing and CTM for experience optimization.


- Execute tests manually for scenarios where automation is not feasible.


Reviewing and analyzing test results :


- Evaluate test execution logs and identify defects or inconsistencies.


- Analyze failed tests to pinpoint root causes and recommend solutions.


Reporting and documenting test results :


- Create clear and concise test reports highlighting key findings and defects.


- Track and communicate test progress and status to stakeholders.


Defect Management :


Reporting and documenting technical issues :


- Log defects in clear and concise manner, including steps to reproduce.


- Prioritize defects based on severity and impact on users.


- Work with developers to resolve defects and ensure timely fixes.


Ability to document and troubleshoot errors :


- Analyze error logs and tracebacks to identify the source of issues.


- Work with developers to analyze and resolve complex technical problems.


Collaboration and Continuous Improvement :


Good analytical skills :


- Interpret test results, analyze trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.


- Identify areas for test improvement and optimization.


Able to learn new technologies on the fly based on requirement :


- Adapt to new features, functionalities, and tools as needed.


- Stay updated with the latest testing trends and best practices.


Able to help the team members as and when needed to improve team capability :


- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.


- Mentor junior testers and contribute to building a strong testing team.


Additional Responsibilities :

- Performance testing


- Security testing


- Accessibility testing


- Data-driven testing


- Participating in code reviews


- Contributing to test automation framework development
