Firmware Engineer/ Trainee Engineer
Location:
Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Work From the Office only)
Job Purpose:
To be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of embedded systems to ensure the quality and reliability of the embedded systems.
Scope:
Coding and firmware development, debugging, system integration testing and validation, documentation, and hardware interfacing knowledge.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist in designing, developing, and testing firmware for embedded systems using languages such as C, C++, or Assembly.Assist in debugging and troubleshooting firmware issues using tools like Multimeter, Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc.Support the integration of firmware with hardware components to collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration.Contribute to developing and executing test plans to ensure firmware functionality and performance.Create and maintain detailed documentation of firmware design, implementation, and usage by writing user manuals and technical specifications.Develop and optimize firmware for microcontrollers ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project specifications.
Qualification and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering, computer science, or related fields.0 to 1 year of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.Intermediate proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Assembly.Basic understanding of embedded systems and micro-controllers.Familiarity with debugging tools such as Multimeter, Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.Undergone training for embedded systems from reputed institutes like Vector, Emertex, etc.
Preferred Skills:Knowledge of IoT protocols and connectivity standards.Understanding of Real-Time Operating System (RTOS).Basic knowledge of hardware components and their integration with firmware.Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, UART, CAN, SPI, WIFI, and Bluetooth.Experience with version control systems such as GIT
