Job Title: Firmware Engineer/ Trainee Engineer


Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Work From the Office only)


Job Purpose:


  • To be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of embedded systems to ensure the quality and reliability of the embedded systems.


Scope:


  • Coding and firmware development, debugging, system integration testing and validation, documentation, and hardware interfacing knowledge.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Assist in designing, developing, and testing firmware for embedded systems using languages such as C, C++, or Assembly.
  • Assist in debugging and troubleshooting firmware issues using tools like Multimeter, Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc.
  • Support the integration of firmware with hardware components to collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Contribute to developing and executing test plans to ensure firmware functionality and performance.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of firmware design, implementation, and usage by writing user manuals and technical specifications.
  • Develop and optimize firmware for microcontrollers ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project specifications.


Qualification and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering, computer science, or related fields.
  • 0 to 1 year of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
  • Intermediate proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Assembly.
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems and micro-controllers.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools such as Multimeter, Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Undergone training for embedded systems from reputed institutes like Vector, Emertex, etc.


Preferred Skills:



  • Knowledge of IoT protocols and connectivity standards.
  • Understanding of Real-Time Operating System (RTOS).
  • Basic knowledge of hardware components and their integration with firmware.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, UART, CAN, SPI, WIFI, and Bluetooth.
  • Experience with version control systems such as GIT
