Job Description:

We seek a skilled Zoho Developer to design, develop, and implement customized Zoho applications to improve our business operations. This role involves working closely with our internal teams to understand their needs, providing expert Zoho guidance, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency.


The ideal candidate brings prior professional experience in a role utilizing Zoho products and tools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, design, and manage custom applications using Zoho tools to address specific business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain applications to optimize them for better performance.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to analyze and translate business requirements into functional Zoho solutions using Zoho Markup Language (ZML).
  • Convert business requirements into Zoho solutions, considering platform constraints and project requirements. Provide recommendations for implementation alternatives and accurate effort estimates.
  • Ensure smooth integration of Zoho products with third-party applications to maintain operational continuity and enhance overall system efficiency.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the high performance and reliability of Zoho applications. Address and resolve technical issues through the Zoho Desk and other support channels.
  • Build and maintain expertise in ZML, API integrations, and data management within the Zoho ecosystem. Stay informed about the latest Zoho updates and best practices to leverage the platform’s capabilities effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive work documentation, including tasks, notes, and hours. Perform rigorous testing to ensure high-quality deliverables before sharing them with clients or internal teams.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and project teams to prioritize and address requirements effectively. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement solutions.
  • Manage client Zoho user accounts and subscriptions as needed. Facilitate training sessions with clients and provide ongoing support to ensure they effectively utilize Zoho applications.
  • Actively contribute to optimizing internal processes and documentation. Suggest and validate implementation alternatives, providing effort estimates and recommendations for ongoing improvements.


Qualifications:

  • A university degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Solid experience in a professional services environment or within a specific industry vertical, focusing on business systems planning and implementation.
  • Exposure to customizing functional software specifications to meet unique business needs and experience working with Zoho One applications within an organization or in a client-facing role.
  • Deep familiarity with the full suite of Zoho One applications, including but not limited to Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Books, Zoho Projects, Zoho People, and Zoho Desk.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Zoho’s ecosystem and its capabilities across various business functions.
  • Familiarity in Zoho applications configuration and customization (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON), and SQL.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical requirements clearly, concisely, and conversationally. 
  • Proficiency in creating simple visual models to represent technical concepts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in various software requirements methodologies, able to translate business needs into actionable software specifications.
  • Proven track record in providing client support, particularly in implementing processes, conducting solutions investigations, and facilitating team meetings. 
  • Ability to identify and address data and information requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to communicate client requirements and align expectations. 
  • Strong team player who can collaborate and contribute to team success.
  • Relevant Zoho certifications are a plus.


Working Conditions: Onsite/In-Person

Expected hours: 40hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday; Weekends as needed
