Job Title:  Backend Developer


Yoonify  is looking for a talented and motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about building scalable backend systems and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs using Python, Fast API and Django.
  • Develop and manage microservices architecture to ensure modular and scalable applications.
  • Utilize AWS and Azure services for deploying, authentication, managing, and scaling applications.
  • Incorporate AI models and algorithms into backend systems to enhance functionality and performance.
  • Implement web scraping solutions using Beautiful Soup or Scrapy to gather data from various sources.
  • Design and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and schema design.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of backend systems.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects.
  • Proficiency in Python and FastAPI framework.
  • Experience with web scraping tools like Beautiful Soup or Scrapy.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
  • Extensive experience with AWS & Azure services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, Azure AD, Azure Functions, AKS, EKS etc.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and their practical applications.
  • Expertise in both SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and query optimization.
  • Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with additional programming languages such as Go, or Node.js.
  • Experience with Machine Learning, big data technologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of other web frameworks and technologies like React, Vue etc.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
