Senior Analyst (CAT Modeling)

Location: Nashik
Responsibilities:
- Perform and analyse data trend analysis.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of catastrophic events and their potential impact on businesses and communities.
- Utilizing advanced analytics techniques to develop models and scenarios for assessing and predicting catastrophe risk.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Assisting business units in the understanding of catastrophe risks, sensitivity studies & added analytics.
- Develop and support the relationship underwriters and the offshore modeling team.
- Providing real-time loss estimates of actual catastrophic events.
- Preparing individual property insurance data for catastrophe risk analysis.
Requirements:
- Skills in MS Word, Excel, Microsoft SQL Server, and some programming knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization and mapping tools is preferred.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical, economical and statistical concepts.
- Quantitative and analytical skills required.
- Ability to process and understand data quickly and creatively.
