Role Overview We are seeking a Health Insurance Policy Advisor to act as the primary advisor for our customers’ health insurance needs. In this role, you will consult with families to understand their health and financial requirements, explain policy options in simple terms, and recommend the most suitable insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in health insurance advisory or sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to build long-term trust with customers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai with immediate joining. Key Responsibilities Customer Consultation: Connect with clients to understand their healthcare needs, financial goals, and risk profile. Policy Advisory: Clearly explain policy options, coverage details, premiums, exclusions, and benefits to customers. Plan Recommendation: Compare multiple insurers’ products and suggest the most suitable plan for each customer. Enrollment Assistance: Guide customers through policy applications, documentation, and onboarding. Ongoing Support: Provide advice on renewals, coverage modifications, and claims-related queries. Compliance & Transparency: Ensure all advisory services comply with IRDAI guidelines and uphold customer-first ethics. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers to become their long-term insurance advisor. Knowledge Building: Stay updated on health insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes. Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field. Experience 2–3 years of proven experience in health insurance advisory, sales, or related roles. Certifications IRDAI Health Insurance certification or equivalent required/preferred. Skills Strong knowledge of health insurance products, policies, and benefits. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain complex insurance concepts in simple terms.
