Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Go Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable and high-performance applications using Go (Golang).

As a Go Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities :

Application Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Go.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.

API Development :

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and other service endpoints.

- Integrate with third-party services and APIs as needed.

- Ensure API security and manage authentication and authorization.

Performance Optimization :

- Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other issues.

Database Management :

- Design and manage database schemas and queries.

- Work with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.

- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.

- Communicate effectively with team members to understand requirements and propose solutions.

Testing and Debugging :

- Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform thorough debugging to ensure code reliability.

- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest developments in Go and other relevant technologies.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and processes.

Requirements :

Technical Skills :

- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Go.

- Proficiency in Go (Golang) and its ecosystem.

- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.

- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and improving existing skills.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

- Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
