We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Property Operations Analyst to join our team and help manage repair and maintenance requests from tenants and oversee small to medium-sized remodel projects.

Jupiter Texas Real Estate Investment Group is a start-up commercial real estate investment group based in Dallas, Texas. We specialize in acquiring, adding value, managing and selling CRE properties with the goal of maximizing investor returns. Our portfolio includes commercial retail properties, medical buildings, daycare facilities, single-family residents and commercial land across the country. 


Property Operations Analyst Summary


The Property Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing tenant repair and maintenance requests, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing small to medium-sized remodel projects. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in property management, maintenance coordination, and project management.


Salary: 6-10 LPA


Key Responsibilities:


Repair and Maintenance Management:

  • Receive, prioritize, and respond to tenant repair and maintenance requests promptly.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Track and document all repair and maintenance activities, including costs and completion times.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and address them proactively.


Project Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee small to medium-sized remodel projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise during the course of the project.


Vendor Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to secure the best terms and pricing.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.


Budgeting and Cost Control:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets for repair, maintenance, and remodel projects.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Provide regular financial reports and updates to management.


Communication and Reporting:

  • Maintain open and effective communication with tenants, addressing their concerns and providing updates on the status of requests and projects.
  • Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities, project progress, and vendor performance to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in property management, maintenance coordination, or project management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance processes, and construction practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with commercial real estate properties.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or facilities management (e.g., FMP, CFM).
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software such as Yardi, RealPage, or MRI.
