Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of data platform specialists like Data Engineers, BI/Visualization, and Integration Engineers.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues if any.
Develop and maintain documentation for Data Platform applications.
Collaborate with other teams within the Client to ensure the smooth flow of data throughout the application stack.
Pro-actively identify and resolve data platform issues, minimizing downtime and impact on users.
Manage and Prioritize data platform support requests, ensuring timely resolution.
Track and Analyze data and reporting platform support metrics to report the leadership and identify areas of improvement.
Oversee data platform incident management process and ensure effective communication during outages.
Develop and implement Knowledge base artifacts and other resources for Data & BI applications.
Advocate for data platform best practices and user education.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Experience in a similar role designing and leading complex data-related projects with enterprise-scale data.
Proven experience leading and managing a team of data engineers.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, data pipelines, and data modeling concepts.
Experience with Cloud Platforms.
Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL, DBT, Snowflake etc.
Experience with one of the visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, Power BI or Cognos is preferred.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
