Purpose-built for today’s complex enterprise environments, we  unify  Fin Ops across AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, and modern AI workloads — enabling organizations to move from cost reporting to cost action.  Role Summary   Fin Opsly is scaling rapidly—and with that growth comes the need to build the scaffolding that lets us move fast and safe. We are seeking a Head of Engineering (Velocity & Execution) to lead our engineering organization across enterprise Saa S and AI-driven platforms. This role is accountable for driving speed, quality, and output across teams—overseeing full-stack developers, data engineers, and AI/ML engineers—while ensuring flawless execution against product and business goals.  The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership, thrives in fast-paced startup environments, and is passionate about translating innovation into production at startup speed.  What You’ll do:    Engineering Leadership & Delivery   Own engineering execution, ensuring velocity, quality, and on-time delivery of Saa S and AI features.  Lead multiple teams (full-stack, data engineering, AI/ML) across the product lifecycle—from design to deployment.  Establish and enforce agile best practices, sprint discipline, and outcome-driven execution.  Build a culture of accountability, speed, and excellence within engineering.  Architecture & Technical Depth   Provide hands-on guidance in Next.js, Node.js, scalable Saa S architectures, and AI-driven systems.  Review designs, code, and architecture to ensure technical soundness and scalability.  Partner with product leaders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.  Ensure systems are built with security, reliability, and performance as first-class priorities.  Team Development & Culture   Recruit, mentor, and grow high-performing engineers across full-stack, data, and AI/ML.  Inspire and align the team to deliver at startup speed without compromising quality.  Build cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and design.  Champion a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and learning.  Operational Excellence   Define and track engineering KPIs (velocity, code quality, release frequency, defect rates, uptime).  Implement processes and automation to streamline CI/CD, testing, and release management.  Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and blockers, driving solutions before they impact delivery.  Ensure transparent communication of progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.   What You’ll Bring  10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.  Hands-on expertise in the full-stack application lifecycle, including Next.js, Node.js, and scalable Saa S architectures.  Experience leading AI/ML platform teams and integrating AI into production systems.  Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and proven ability to scale engineering execution in high-growth environments.  Track record of delivering complex Saa S products with velocity and high quality.  Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.  A startup mindset: thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and lead by doing.   Preferred:   Experience in enterprise Saa S platforms with multi-tenant architectures.  Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR) in engineering execution.  Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).  Background in data platforms and real-time analytics.   Success Criteria (First 90-120 Days)  Engineering velocity improved with clear metrics (faster release cycles, reduced bottlenecks).  Cross-functional release cadence established with predictable, high-quality delivery.  Key Saa S and AI features shipped to production with measurable business impact.  High-performing engineering team culture reinforced with accountability and autonomy.  Leadership confidence in engineering execution at startup speed with enterprise-grade quality  Why Join Us   This is a pivotal leadership role in a high-growth startup where innovation meets execution.
