Description Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) - Global Network Services (GNS) is responsible for the engineering, development, and operation of DB’s Group-wide network for all areas of the Bank. GNS supports all aspects of network infrastructure in over 2500 offices in 50 countries. Under the direction of Product Lead, AVP will work as a facilitator all the communication and collaboration between leadership and team players to ensure successful business outcomes. Projects will range from the design and buildouts of new locations and silos to the rollout of new features and functionality for global initiatives in support of global market data applications, financial systems and infrastructure involving high volume securities trading and financial transactions. Responsible for designing and implementing solutions leveraging and expanding on existing design standards, liaising with internal customers, raising changes and deploying new technologies as required by the project.  Responsible for delivering the requisite level of network resiliency and for testing network failover. Support project managers and the regional management team in project planning, tracking, and reporting when required. Your skills and experience 5-10 years of experience working in a corporate global network environment, ideally with financial institutions Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Strict adherence to change procedures and design/configuration guidelines Able to work independently and as a member of a team Ability to work under pressure and support multiple projects Exhibit a high degree of integrity Self-starter and disciplined in your approach to work Strong background in routing and switching including VLANs (802.1Q), OSPF and HSRP Cisco CCNP or CCDP (Routing and Switching preferred) certified or demonstrated equivalent knowledge Experience in MAN/WAN technologies like MPLS and VPN, and DWDM Experience in structured cabling Knowledge of applied QOS strategies Experience in WLAN including controllers Hands-on experience with most of the following: CISCO ASR/ISR routers, Nexus 3K and 5K, and Catalyst 2K, 3K, 4K and 6K platforms Familiarity with DNS and DHCP Proficiency in MS Office tools including Visio Cisco CCIE certified (Routing and Switching preferred) Experience with VRF, NAT, ACL’s, BGP, Netflow and multicast routing ITIL v3 Foundation certified Experience with F5, Arista, Corvil, McAfee and Checkpoint Experience with SMARTS and Cisco Prime Familiarity with virtualized, SDN and cloud-based compute solutions Familiarity with SAN, databases, and IT technologies outside of networks Project management awareness, including developing a bill of materials for project cost proposals Awareness, privacy or regulatory procedures and standards that are required in the financial services industry The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends due to business requirements What We Value Curiosity: You love to learn, experiment, and stay up to date with emerging technologies Innovation: You bring new ideas to the table and find creative ways to solve challenges Leadership: You take ownership and inspire others to do the same Collaboration: You work well across teams and value different perspectives How we’ll support you Training and development to help you excel in your career Coaching and support from experts in your team A culture of continuous learning to aid progression A range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your needs
