Job Description : Role Overview: The Process Manager in Collateral Management is responsible for overseeing and optimizing processes related to collateral operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, mitigating counterparty risk, and improving operational efficiency. This role involves managing daily workflows, implementing best practices, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accurate and timely collateral movements. Key Responsibilities: Process Oversight: Manage end-to-end collateral management processes, including margin calls, dispute resolution, and settlement. Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards (e.G., EMIR, Dodd-Frank, Basel III). Risk Management: Monitor collateral positions to mitigate counterparty and liquidity risks. Identify and escalate potential operational or credit risks promptly. Process Improvement: Analyze existing workflows and implement automation or efficiency enhancements. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with front office, risk, legal, and external counterparties for collateral-related queries. Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor team members, ensuring high performance and compliance. Drive training initiatives for process updates and regulatory changes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s/MBA degree in Finance or related field. Team handling experience is a must on papers. 6+ years of experience in collateral management or financial operations. Experience in handling margin calls. Strong understanding of listed derivatives, securities lending, and margining practices. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (EMIR, Dodd-Frank, Basel III). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in collateral management systems and MS Office tools.
