Key Responsibilities: Digital Content Creation & Management:
  • Develop and execute compelling digital content strategies across various platforms, including website, blog, email, and social media.
  • Write, edit, and publish high-quality content that aligns with brand voice and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and other team members to produce engaging multimedia content.
  • Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of materials and alignment with marketing campaigns.
  • Assign tasks to interns who join the communications team
Social Media Management:
  • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across social media channels.
  • Develop social media strategies to increase engagement, grow followers, and drive website traffic.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and apply that knowledge to increase the presence and effectiveness of social media efforts.
  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and manage online reputation.
  • Set up weekly calls with team members to ensure that all the group websites are updated
  • Check all websites and social media handles on a regular basis to ensure accuracy in terms of facts and design
  • Communicate with the backend technical team to resolve any issues around tech development
Analytics & Reporting:
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for digital content and social media campaigns.
  • Utilize analytics tools to gain insights and optimize content performance and social media strategy.
  • Prepare monthly reports to communicate results and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align digital content and social media efforts with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all digital platforms.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing events and promotions as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital content creation, social media management, or related roles.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, , etc.) and social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva,UX/UI, FIGMA  etc.).
  • Knowledge of video production and editing.
  • Understanding of branding and marketing principles.
