The open position is for the Sensors team under Avionics; in this role you will work as Associate Engineer - Mechanical in NPD Role.

What You Will Do:

• You will Works on Design and development projects to assist in providing technical solutions, verification, and validation, and evaluating alternatives, including cost and risk, at various stages of the project such as concept, design, fabrication, testing and installation of Electromechanical systems.
• You will be involved in full product development life cycle and troubleshooting for field observations.
• You will Implement Design concepts using tools like Creo 8.0. and work on PLM/PDM software/package
• You will perform detailed Hand calculation, FEA Analysis, support design reviews and presentations.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in new product development.
• Proficiency in Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering, design concepts, Materials, GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Strong understanding and experience in Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Master's in mechanical design with Exposure to Global Customer interactions.
• Previous experience working in aerospace or related industries.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
