Responsibilities:
*Conduct comprehensive detailed evaluations
*Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each child's specific challenges and goals.
*Provide individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate optimal functioning.
*Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and progress monitoring.
*Educate parents and caregivers on strategies and activities to support a child's development and skill acquisition at home.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
*Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
*Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of work.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
*Clinical experience in assessing and treating children with developmental, sensory, and motor challenges.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with children and their families.
*Ability to create a child-friendly and engaging therapeutic environment.
*Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
*Proficiency in using therapeutic activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment for children.
*Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines pertaining to pediatric occupational therapy
