Our client is an international logistics company in Vietnam that is looking for a qualified candidate to work for their Sea Division:
1. Operational Management
  • Plan and coordinate sea freight shipments, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
  • Schedule vessel bookings and coordinate with shipping lines and carriers to ensure space availability and timely departures.
  • Determine the most efficient and cost-effective routes for shipments, considering transit times, costs, and customer requirements.
2. Documentation and Compliance
  • Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
  • Ensure compliance with international and local regulations, including customs requirements, export/import regulations, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers and authorities to ensure smooth customs clearance processes for both exports and imports.
3. Customer Service
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on shipment status and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments.
  • Gather feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance service quality.
4. Coordination and Collaboration
  • Work closely with other departments, including sales, warehousing, and finance, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Manage relationships with shipping lines, port authorities, terminal operators, and other third-party service providers.
  • Coordinate with overseas agents and partners to ensure smooth handling of international shipments.
5. Inventory and Cost Management
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability and timely dispatch of goods.
  • Track and manage operational costs, ensuring budget adherence and cost efficiency in logistics operations.
6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sea freight operations, such as on-time delivery rates, shipment accuracy, and cost performance.
  • Prepare regular reports on operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
7. Process Improvement
  • Analyze current operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement and leverage logistics management software and other technologies to streamline operations and improve accuracy.
8. Risk Management
  • Identify potential risks in sea freight operations, such as delays, damages, and compliance issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage crises and unexpected events, such as vessel delays, port strikes, or adverse weather conditions, to minimize impact on operations.

Requirements
  • Good communication in Vietnamese and English.
  • Good understanding of Product Knowledge
  • Should have good contacts at depot and vendors ( who sell containers)
  • Report to the principals.
  • Update inventory
  • Punctual and sincere to work.
  • Self-Driven and self-motivated.
