Job Description: System Administrator
Overview
Seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have experience in system hardware and network troubleshooting, Active Directory, IIS server configurations, SQL server administration, and Google Workspace operations. The role ensures the stability and efficiency of inhouse information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, network, and software issues.
Active Directory: Manage user accounts, group policies, and organizational units.
Linux Management: Use command line for system monitoring and maintenance.
IIS & SQL Servers: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot IIS and SQL servers; handle SSL certificates and database tasks and backup. Manage VPN servers and TFS project collections.
Microsoft Office & GIT: Troubleshoot Office products; manage GIT repositories.
Google Workspace: Administer applications and manage user accounts and security settings.
DNS/DHCP: Configure and manage settings; troubleshoot network protocols.
Task Execution: Prioritize tasks under pressure; maintain clear documentation.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively; support team members.
Key Skills:
Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and networks.
Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows Server, VPN, TFS, and GIT.
Basic Linux command line knowledge.
Experience with IIS, SQL server, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.
Strong problemsolving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified, CompTIA Network+).
Experience with virtualization (e.g., HyperV) and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years as a System Administrator.
