Chennai, India Surge Technology Solutions Inc Full time

We are seeking an experienced IT Recruiter with 4+ years of expertise in LinkedIn sourcing to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top IT talent through LinkedIn and other sourcing channels. This is an on-site position where you will work from our Chennai office.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sourcing & Recruitment : Identify, engage, and recruit IT professionals using LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
  • LinkedIn Expertise : Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and other LinkedIn tools to source passive candidates and build talent pipelines.
  • Candidate Screening : Conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Candidate Management : Manage the recruitment process from initial contact through offer acceptance, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Database Management : Maintain and update the recruitment database with candidate profiles, interview feedback, and hiring decisions.
  • Reporting : Track and report on sourcing metrics, including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
  • Employer Branding : Assist in enhancing the company’s presence and employer brand on LinkedIn.

Key Skills and Requirements :

  • Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT recruitment with a strong focus on LinkedIn sourcing.
  • LinkedIn Tools : Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other LinkedIn sourcing tools.
  • IT Knowledge : Strong understanding of the IT industry, technologies, and roles.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills : Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple open roles simultaneously.
  • Adaptability : Ability to adapt to the fast-paced environment and changing business needs.
  • Team Player : Ability to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in hiring for technical roles such as software developers, system administrators, cloud engineers, etc.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
