By providing resources and training, we enable these women to produce eco-friendly products like sustainable rakhis, bio-enzymes, reusable menstrual pads, and more. Not only do these products contribute to a greener planet, but they also generate income for these women, lifting them out of poverty and providing them with newfound independence.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Expert to join our team and lead our company through the fundraising process on both national and international levels. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of fundraising processes and institutions, particularly those that provide loans to small businesses and self-help groups. They will play a pivotal role in securing the necessary funding to support our mission of creating sustainable livelihoods for women from marginalized communities and fostering environmental responsibility.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Expert to join our team and lead our company through the fundraising process on both national and international levels. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of fundraising processes and institutions, particularly those that provide loans to small businesses and self-help groups. They will play a pivotal role in securing the necessary funding to support our mission of creating sustainable livelihoods for women from marginalized communities and fostering environmental responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan encompassing both national and international fundraising processes and institutions.
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, investors, and funding agencies at both the national and international levels.
Stay updated on the latest trends and opportunities in fundraising, including emerging funding mechanisms and innovative financing models.
Research and assess eligibility criteria, application processes, and funding opportunities offered by various national and international institutions.
Prepare high-quality grant proposals, funding applications, and pitch decks tailored to different donors and funding sources.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to gather relevant data, metrics, and impact stories to support fundraising efforts.
Manage the end-to-end grant application process, from initial submission to reporting and compliance requirements.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and adjust approaches as necessary to achieve fundraising targets.
Represent The Sustainable Tree at national and international forums, conferences, and events related to fundraising and sustainable development.
ELIGIBILITY:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Non-profit Management, International Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven track record of successful fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector or social enterprise space, with a focus on both national and international fundraising.
Comprehensive knowledge of fundraising processes, institutions, and funding mechanisms at both the national and international levels.
Excellent communication skills, including strong writing abilities and the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and platforms.
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to identify and pursue diverse funding opportunities.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, multilateral organizations, foundations, and corporate partners.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Passionate about sustainable development, gender equality, and environmental conservation.
