We have an opening for a Solution Architect -Presales profile.

A. About the Role:

Pre-Sales Technical Engineer / Solution Architect with rich expertise in IT

Infrastructure, Cloud, and Backup Solutions. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for designing and sizing end-to-end infrastructure solutions, covering

Compute & Storage, Virtualization, HCI, Cloud Infrastructure, and Backup &

DR for Govt/PSU/BFSI/Enterprise customers. The selected candidate should work

closely with customers, consultants, OEMs, and internal teams to deliver optimal

and impactful solutions and responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.

B. Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture


• Design and size solutions for:

  • Compute & Storage (SAN/NAS/DAS)
  • Server & Storage Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
  • Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)
  • Public Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas, etc.)


• Prepare detailed BoQ/BoM independently for on-premises and cloud-

based deployments.


• Evaluate and recommend OS, DB, and Hypervisor licensing models.


• Conduct sizing and optimization for compute & storage, and backup

workloads.

Backup & DR Expertise


• Design and size backup solutions for physical, virtual, and cloud

environments.


• Plan and architect DC-DR replication strategies including RPO/RTO

alignment.


• Optimize backup infrastructure for performance, cost, and scalability.


• Work with backup OEMs to validate solution designs and licensing.

Pre-Sales Engagement


• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and

translate them into technical solutions.


• Prepare and present solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and

technical documentation.


• Respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs with high-quality technical inputs.


• Conduct workshops, demos, and PoCs as neede

Stakeholder Collaboration


• Work closely with internal SMEs, delivery teams, and project managers.


• Maintain strong relationships with OEMs and leverage vendor support.


• Engage with customer IT teams and consultants to align solutions with

business goals.

C. Required Skills & Experience:


• 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or systems

engineering roles.


• Proven expertise in:

  • Compute & Storage (Dell, HPE, Lenovo, NetApp, etc.)
  • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM)
  • HCI platforms (Nutanix, VMware vSAN, etc.)
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas, etc.)
  • DC-DR replication and business continuity planning


• Strong understanding of OS (Windows/Linux), DB (SQL/Oracle), and Hypervisor

licensing.


• Experience in preparing responses for RFP/RFI/RFQ independently.


• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders.
