Key Responsibility :

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, tools, equipment, and services.
  • Request and compare quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure procurement aligns with production requirements and company budget.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) based on approved requisitions.
  • Track and follow up on POs to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Handle vendor audits, evaluations, and onboarding.
  • Work with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure stock levels are optimized.
  • Monitor material usage and reduce procurement-related waste or overstocking.
  • Support cost-reduction initiatives without compromising on quality.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and finance teams for seamless procurement operations.
  • Provide regular updates on procurement status, risks, and opportunities to management.
  • Generate reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier metrics.

Qualifications & Skills:Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing in the manufacturing sector.

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of raw materials and components used in manufacturing.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other office tools.
  • Understanding of inventory control and cost optimization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
