About the Role

As the Community & Content Manager at Alma, you will be instrumental in shaping and growing the online presence of our immigration legal services platform. Alma is backed by leading VCs such as Bling Capital, Forerunner Ventures, MVP, NEA, Village Global, NFX, and Conviction, and is founded by alumni of prestigious institutions like Harvard Law School, Harvard Business School, and UCLA. Join our dynamic team to revolutionize the immigration industry with cutting-edge technology and a community-driven approach.


Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy and Management

  • Develop and execute end-to-end strategies to enhance Alma’s presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, Substack, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
  • Launch impactful campaigns and content verticals tailored to different target audiences (ICPs).
  • Create and manage engaging content, including writing posts, designing creatives, and producing video content (incl. writing script drafts, video editing, etc.)
  • Monitor, engage, and grow Alma’s online community, fostering relationships with followers and expanding our reach.
  • Explore and experiment with new social platforms and tools to expand Alma’s digital footprint.

Content Collaboration

  • Coordinate interviews with stakeholders and key community members to gather stories and insights for newsletters and social media content.
  • Plan, strategize, and execute compelling topics for our fortnightly newsletter
  • Write detailed case studies for Alma’s website, showcasing client success stories and the impact of our services.

Event Marketing

  • Manage Alma’s Luma page, ensuring it is up-to-date with all events we host, such as webinars and community meet-ups.
  • Promote events effectively through social media and other marketing channels to maximize attendance and engagement.
  • Organize and execute online social promotions and campaigns, such as LinkedIn discussions or Twitter chats, AMAs, etc. to drive community participation.

Campaign Analytics and Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics across all digital channels.
  • Use insights from analytics to refine strategies and optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain a pulse on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging tools to inform and enhance Alma’s social media approach.

Community Engagement

  • Actively engage with followers and foster a positive brand presence.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers and community leaders relevant to Alma’s mission.
  • Monitor and participate in relevant industry discussions to position Alma as a thought leader.


Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have

  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation.
  • Exceptional content writing skills tailored to diverse platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube).
  • Proven ability to develop and execute social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple platforms and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in tracking metrics and using social media tools to measure campaign success.

Bonus

  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) for creating high-quality visuals.
  • Experience in video editing for YouTube and short-form content (e.g., Instagram Reels, LinkedIn videos).
  • Familiarity with employment-based visa types and a willingness to develop a deep understanding of immigration processes.


Compensation

  • Monthly salary: INR 80,000 - 1.5 lakhs, based on experience.
