Job Title:

Manager/Sr. Manager - Communications OR Content/Communications Head


Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy, aligned with the company’s marketing goals and objectives
  • Overseeing the development of high-quality content for long-form and short-form content across various platforms, such as blogs, websites, social media, e-mail campaigns, and more, ensuring engaging & relevant content, consistent with the brand voice and messaging
  • Building and managing a team of content writers and freelancers (if need be), and provide guidance, feedback, and support to enhance their skills and ensure the delivery of impactful content
  • Ensuring brand consistency and compliance, maintaining adherence to the brand’s tone, voice, visual identity, and verbiage
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially brand management, design, and sales, to develop integrated campaigns and initiatives, aligning content with overall marketing strategies
  • Monitoring industry trends and best practices in content marketing and communication, and continuously research and evaluate new strategies to maintain a competitive edge
  • Analysing and optimising content performance with the assistance of a digital marketing expert, leveraging SEO tools to evaluate the effectiveness of content and communication efforts


Qualifications, Experience & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline - Master’s degree in either is a plus
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in communications, content marketing, or related roles. Prior experience in managing a team and leading content strategies is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create engaging and persuasive content
  • Strong strategic mindset to develop and execute comprehensive content and communication strategies
  • A keen eye for detail and expertise in editing and proofreading
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles, including content marketing, SEO, social media, and e-mail marketing. Familiarity with various content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
