The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Big Commerce development, including customizing themes, building apps, optimizing store performance, and integrating third-party tools. If you are passionate about e-commerce solutions and have a strong technical background, we would love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Develop and customize Big Commerce themes and templates to create engaging e-commerce experiences. Build, extend, and optimize Big Commerce apps and integrations using APIs. Implement custom functionalities, including checkout customizations, product page enhancements, and dynamic pricing rules. Optimize website performance, security, and responsiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve Big Commerce platform-related issues. Work closely with UI/UX designers, marketers, and other developers to enhance the user experience. Integrate third-party tools such as payment gateways, shipping APIs, and CRM solutions. Maintain clean, well-documented, and scalable code. Stay updated with the latest Big Commerce trends, best practices, and technologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in Big Commerce development. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java Script (ES6+), j Query, and SCSS. Strong knowledge of Big Commerce Stencil framework and Liquid templating. Hands-on experience with Big Commerce API (REST & Graph QL) integrations. Experience in Headless Commerce and PWA implementations (preferred). Familiarity with e-commerce SEO and performance optimization techniques. Experience with version control systems like Git. Ability to work in an agile development environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in custom app development using Node.js/PHP. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with React.js, Vue.js, or other front-end frameworks. Understanding of Shopify, Magento, Woo Commerce, or other e-commerce platforms. Previous experience in app development for Big Commerce. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
