Office Time: 09:30 am to 06:30 pm

Working Days: 6 Days Working/Full time/onsite (2nd and 4th Saturday off)

As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of orders, from initial inquiry to delivery. You will act as the liaison between our clients and our production team, ensuring that all customer requirements are met while maintaining the highest standard of quality. This role requires a strong understanding of Business excellent communication skills, project management abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEM clients.- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and inquiries promptly and effectively.- Ensure regular communication with clients to update them on order status, product developments, and any changes.- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for raw materials and components.- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.- Maintain a database of reliable suppliers and continuously seek new sourcing opportunities.- Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production delays.- Develop and manage product costing, including material, labor, and overhead costs.- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for clients.- Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability while maintaining quality standards.- Analyze cost variances and implement measures to optimize costs.- Coordinate with the manufacturing unit to ensure timely production and delivery of products.- Work closely with the design and production teams to develop new products based on client requirements.- Manage the sampling process, ensuring samples meet client expectations before mass production.- Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and client specifications.- Coordinate with the supply chain team to manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of raw materials.- Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, orders, and transactions.- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a merchandising role, preferably in the backpack or related industries.

Skills:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
