Role title : Senior Analyst

Reports to : Assistant vice president-legal

Location : Mumbai, India

Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our legal team as a Senior Analyst. This role is ideal for a law graduate with prior legal experience of 3 to 4 years. As a Senior Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior members of the legal team, gain hands-on experience in various legal matters, and contribute to the success of our organization

.Responsibilities:

1. Contract Management: Providing legal support for business based in Mumbai and Middle east and Turkey business including drafting, reviewing, amending, and negotiating contracts including NDAs, Service Agreements, IT Agreements; Supplier Terms; Lease Agreements; Remittance contracts, Banknotes contract.

2. Legal Advice: Assessing and advising legal implications on the business.

3. Documentation Management: Maintain and organize legal documents, contracts, and correspondence in an organized and accessible manner. Prepare and maintain legal MIS and maintain legal trackers.

4. Compliance Support: Managing Travelex Indias local compliances and regulatory obligations by ensuring compliance with applicable provisions of: - • The Indian Companies Act 2013 • FEMA Regulations • Applicable Department of Telecommunications (DOT) regulations • Local (Mumbai) municipal rules and regulations

5. Group Support: legal support and assistance to the Global Travelex Group Legal team, working with the business and our Legal Teams various geographies on contract review and negotiations, legal research. Assist in preparing litigation report for the group companies.

6. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal across departments to provide legal guidance and support on various matters. Assists with managing law firm relationships.

7. Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct research on legal issues relevant to the company's operations and provide analysis and recommendations to senior members of the legal team.

8. Commercial & Risk management: Assisting in updating and maintaining collective knowledge/ templates and delivery of training. Understands & helps to manages legal risks.

9. Stay Updated: Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company and proactively communicate relevant updates to the legal team.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree from a recognized university with previous working experience of 3 to 4 years of relevant legal experience preferred. Financial services/ similar prior experience will be an advantage.

2. Prior experience in managing Company Secretarial matters and compliances under Companies Act

3. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate findings.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

7.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

8. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
