As a Business System Analyst 2, you will have an opportunity to be part of the Platform Delivery team. This team delivers world class marketing technology platforms using Epsilon’s market leading PeopleCloud suite of products, which support our clients’ multi-channel marketing strategies. This role requires you to have both business and technical expertise and will need you to act as a liaison between the client and the technical delivery teams. You will play a key role within the Platform Delivery organization — across many disciplines within the Software Development Lifecycle — including requirements gathering, documentation, design, and testing.

What you’ll do as a Business Systems Analyst 2:

Demonstrate curiosity, problem solving, and critical thinking skillsExhibit a strong desire to learn new technologies and skillsWork with clients and internal Epsilon teams to understand, define, and completely document business and/or campaign requirements using standard templatesUnderstand system high level designs and map business/campaign requirements to functional and non-functional components of the solution.Analyze data quality to identify trend, issues and recommend changes as required.Help support client data onboarding (multiple vendors/sources) to Epsilon solutionHelp maintain process documents and update them regularlyCreate, support, troubleshoot, and deliver on client requests in support of the day-to-day marketing operationSupport the testing effort of database enhancements and to ensure accurate on-time deliveryHave effective client meetings, understand deliverables, and drive successful outcomesMarketing and Messaging Business Systems Analysts will also:Build multi-channel marketing campaigns- including creation, testing and deployment of campaignsSupport the team to improve delivery quality, repeatability, and on-time delivery of campaigns

Qualifications

1.5 to 2.5 years of experience in IT industryTech-savvy with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to learn business and functional processesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBasic understanding of software development methodologiesDesire and ability to learn new technologies and softwareAptitude for data and data analysis, ability to investigate data through various data toolsAbility to multi-task, prioritize and quickly change prioritiesAbility to work collaboratively with global teams

Nice to have:

Basic understanding of marketing CRM, digital marketing, or marketing conceptsAbility to document requirements and specificationsKnowledge of databases, SQL conceptsExposure to marketing campaign tools (Eloqua, Marketo, Responsys, Zeta, etc.), and ability to learn new campaign platformsExposure to data warehousing, data lake, and data mart conceptsExposure to real-time, API, HTML, or web technologies
