Job Summary:

Augurs Technologies, a growing software development company, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with at least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, focused on software products and development services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in using and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify, qualify, and nurture leads in the software industry. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic prospecting, and a deep understanding of software development sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify leads for software development services and products using and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline targeting software companies and tech decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
  • Design and execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential clients effectively.
  • Track, analyze, and report on lead generation metrics and pipeline health.
  • Maintain CRM data accuracy and manage lead follow-ups efficiently.
  • Stay updated on software industry trends and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of business development or sales experience in software development or IT services.
  • Hands-on experience using and LinkedIn Sales Navigator for software sales prospecting.
  • Strong understanding of software development sales processes and client pain points.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for engaging software clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, or related fields preferred.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Knowledge of SaaS sales, software outsourcing, or custom software development markets.
  • Experience with outbound email automation tools (e.g., , Lemlist).
  • Prior work experience in startup or fast-paced software development companies.
