Senior Implementation Consultant

Position Objective

The objective of this role is to:

  • Manage and perform implementations of ERP software as well as other software sold and implemented by Momentum, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system functionality.
  • Provide ongoing software consulting services to our clients, including system reviews, training, customization design, and other improvement initiatives that drive business value and efficiency.
  • Offer support assistance to our clients' issues, encompassing analysis and fixing of data, as well as providing telephone, email, and face-to-face customer support, responding to technical support enquiries, scheduling of system upgrades, and analyzing and fixing data discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Formal qualifications in Business, Accounting, or IT are highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in ERP implementation consulting, specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Wiise, is required.

Knowledge and/or Experience

  • Experience working in a business consulting or professional services environment, where analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using or implementing accounting software, or experience in Accounting or Finance roles, is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to manage complex ERP implementation projects, balancing client needs with resource and time constraints, while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Strong client-facing skills, including experience in conducting requirements gathering, delivering training, and managing client expectations, are crucial for success in this role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and Accounting principles is essential for effective project management and consultation.

Technical / Business Competencies

  • Accounting qualification or demonstrated knowledge of accounting fundamentals is required.
  • Able to work efficiently and independently, managing productivity and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Wiise and the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Project, is necessary.

Additional Essential Criteria

  • Ability to work autonomously, manage an implementation project from start to completion, and ensure all variations and project milestones are signed off.
  • Skilled in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions in a fast-paced environment, where adaptability and flexibility are key.
  • Outstanding communicator with ability to manage customer expectations and work as 'trusted advisor' to our customers, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve effectively and efficiently, with a genuine enthusiasm for working on and with systems and technology.
  • Strongly committed to exceptional customer experiences and have an empathetic nature, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, results-focused, and self-motivated, with a friendly and positive personality style.
