HCT Sun also offers businesses high-end solar photovoltaic systems at no upfront cost. Our in-house teams, trained in the US, design, install, and maintain projects at the highest international standards.

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as a Project Manager - Solar Power. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Coordination:

Create detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project requirements. Manage project documentation, including permits, contracts, and technical specifications.Site Management:

Oversee site preparation and installation of solar panels and related equipment. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.Budget and Cost Management:

Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization. Track project expenses and handle financial reporting.

Identify and mitigate financial risks.Team Leadership : Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and site personnel. Assign tasks and responsibilities, providing guidance and support as needed.

Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address issues.Quality Assurance and Control:

Implement quality control procedures to ensure high standards of work. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications. Address and resolve any issues or defects promptly.Communication and Reporting:

Ensure transparent communication with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. Regularly update senior management on progress and promptly address stakeholder concerns or queries with professionalism.Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure contingency plans are in place for unforeseen events.Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Promote a culture of safety on site, conducting regular safety training and drills. Investigate and report any incidents or accidents.

QualificationsEducation : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on solar or renewable energy projects.Technical Skills : Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and familiarity with solar energy technologies.Soft Skills : Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Certifications : OSHA safety certification and/or other relevant industry certifications.

Working ConditionsLocation: Primarily on-site at project locations, with occasional office work.Hours: Full-time, with potential for overtime during peak project phases.Travel: Frequent travel to project sites and stakeholder meetings.
