We are seeking a Team Lead with a strong background in architectural lighting design or architecture, who is not only technically adept but also capable of steering projects, mentoring talent, and contributing to the strategic growth of the practice. Experience in marketing or sales within architecture, lighting, or related industries will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Project Leadership

• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams in the development of architectural lighting and spatial design projects from concept through execution.
• Translate architectural and lighting design intent into detailed drawings, presentations, and documentation.
• Review and refine designs to ensure compliance with client expectations, sustainability goals, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and clients to integrate lighting solutions seamlessly into the built environment.

Technical Oversight

• Ensure design excellence, consistency, and innovation across all projects while adhering to best practices, standards, and client briefs.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior designers and project teams.
• Conduct quality reviews and ensure designs are delivered with precision and attention to detail.
• Stay updated with evolving technologies, materials, and industry trends and integrate them into design solutions.

Client Engagement

• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building trust and understanding their aspirations.
• Assist in pitching projects, responding to proposals, and developing presentations that communicate the design vision with clarity and impact.
• Provide technical consultation and insight during the project lifecycle.

Business Development & Marketing (Plus)

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create content, case studies, and thought leadership that reflect the firm's expertise and values.
• Support business development efforts by providing technical presentations, client workshops, and strategic proposals.
• Cultivate relationships with clients, industry peers, and collaborators to enhance the firm's network and reputation.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Architectural Lighting Design, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in architectural lighting design or architecture, preferably with exposure to high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, or cultural projects.
• Proven experience leading design teams and delivering projects successfully.
• Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, materials, and detailing.
• Excellent communication, visualization, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in software tools such as AutoCAD, Dialux and Adobe Creative Suite.

Preferred:

• Experience in marketing, sales, or client-facing roles within architecture, lighting, or interior design sectors.
• A portfolio showcasing thoughtful design solutions with aesthetic sensitivity and technical precision.
• Ability to create compelling narratives around design intent, brand identity, and client experiences.
• Awareness of sustainability principles, energy efficiency, and human-centric lighting solutions.

Pay: ₹35, ₹80,000.00 per month
