About this position
This role will be responsible for driving the Automotive Business, delivery, business strategy and growth.
Location: Bangalore
This will role reporting to Head of Automotive Business Unit
Domain: Automotive (Only)
Responsibilities
•Account/ Project Revenue & P&L
•Responsible for the delivery of all Automotive Projects:
oLead, mentor, retention and motivate high performance project resources for seamless delivery across engagements for all clients
oEstablish operating procedures, work assignments, planning, and all project management activities across the delivery organization and meet targets for project revenue, profitability and utilization
oDesign and implement frameworks for performance optimization, scalability, security, reusability for delivery excellence and customer delight
oTake complete ownership for Delivery Governance of all the accounts and carry out regular project audits to evaluate SLA, compliance and quality
oMaintain key customer relationships. Lead the new customer acquisition initiatives.
oCollaborate with internal functional organizations like practice/Competency, operations, sales teams to achieve business targets
•Provide strategic direction, motivation, leadership & proven general management ability to successfully increase profitability.
oFormulate strategic and growth plan to increase business size and profitability of the Automotive projects.
oWork closely with peers and other members of the Senior Leadership in the BU to formulate and implement long term growth strategy for the BU and Organization.
oEnable a great engineering culture with the right people, processes and innovation and set the right performance standards to deliver strategic business out comes
oEnsure that internal projects and initiatives related to project delivery are aligned with overall business strategy and priorities of the firm
oCreate a leadership pipeline to drive and sustain the future growth
oDiagnose project delivery issues and initiate actions to maintain or improve levels of service
oIntroduce best practices, agile methodologies and engineering standards; institute change when necessary and appropriate
oLead all change management initiatives and create a high-performing environment where Execution, Quality and Innovation thrive
Qualifications
•18+ years of experience; currently leading sizable engineering team, responsible for P&L / Sales, delivery of engineering software and hardware products for Automotive Electronics.
•Strong project management skills – well versed with project management tools
•Customer relationship management and communication skills
•The candidate should be technically sound with an entrepreneurial and global mindset.
•Should be transformational leader who is highly energetic and can actively engage stake holders
•Hands-on customer interaction that allows the individual to understand true customer needs with a proven track record of managing the expectations of a global customer base.
•Must be a “hands-on” and be able to inspire and build confidence in the management team to ensure the company’s continued growth. Must also have integrity and a desire to bring out the best in people as well as instil a sense of loyalty and purpose.
•Excellent Leadership competence; Organizational talent; Communication skills. Must be intelligent, mature and a self-confident professional who communicates effectively at all levels of the organization. He must be capable of translating growth objectives into concrete and successful operating plans.
