About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Domain Enterprise Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge data and AI-native solutions for our telecom clients. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of telecom frameworks, standards, and emerging technologies to architect transformative solutions that address complex business challenges. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating their strategic requirements into innovative technical architectures that harness the power of data, AI, and Generative AI technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with telecom clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements, challenges, and strategic objectives, translating them into comprehensive solution architectures.
• Design and architect enterprise-scale data and AI-native solutions and products for telecom operators, leveraging industry frameworks such as TMForum standards, Open Digital Architecture (ODA), Shared Information Data (SID), and enhanced Telecom Operations Map (eTOM) and other standard frameworks.
• Develop solution blueprints that integrate modern data platforms, machine learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI capabilities to address telecom-specific use cases such as network optimization, customer experience management, fraud detection, and predictive maintenance.
• Lead client workshops and discovery sessions to identify opportunities for digital transformation and AI-driven innovation within telecom operations and business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, AI specialists, and product managers to ensure solution designs are technically feasible and aligned with client expectations.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in telecom, data engineering, AI, and Generative AI, evaluating their potential impact and application within telecom environments.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including solution architectures, integration patterns, and implementation roadmaps that comply with telecom industry standards and best practices.
• Provide thought leadership on telecom digital transformation trends, participating in industry forums and contributing to the development of best practices and methodologies.
• Mentor junior architects and technical teams on telecom domain knowledge, solution design principles, and emerging technology adoption.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• MBA or equivalent advanced business degree is preferred, with a focus on technology management, strategy, or telecommunications being advantageous.
• 10+ years of experience in telecom industry with at least 5 years in solution architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in telecom industry frameworks and standards, including:
• TMForum standards and methodologies
• Open Digital Architecture (ODA)
• Shared Information Data (SID) model
• Enhanced Telecom Operations Map (eTOM)
• NGOSS (New Generation Operations Systems and Software)
• MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum) standards
• Strong understanding of telecom business processes, including:
• OSS/BSS systems and integration
• Network function virtualization (NFV) and software-defined networking (SDN)
• 5G network architecture and services
• Customer lifecycle management
• Revenue assurance and fraud management
• Proven experience in designing data and AI solutions for telecom use cases such as:
• Personalized customer experiences
• Customer churn prediction and retention
• Real-time fraud detection
• Predictive maintenance for network infrastructure
• Network analytics and optimization
• Knowledge of emerging technologies including:
• Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Agentic AI systems and autonomous operations
• Edge computing and distributed AI
• Cloud-native architectures and microservices
• Knowledge of modern Cloud and data platforms technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake etc.).
• Strong understanding of telecom data types and sources, including CDRs, IPDRs, network performance data, and customer interaction data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to C-level executives and technical teams.
• Proven track record of successful client engagement and solution delivery in telecom environments.
• Relevant certifications in telecom technologies, cloud platforms, or enterprise architecture frameworks are preferred.
• Experience with agile methodologies and their application in large-scale telecom transformation projects.
