Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Conference Producer at Threefold Business Solutions in New Delhi. The Conference Producer will be responsible for tasks such as conference production, market research, communication, speaker acquisition, and event management.

Building Conference AgendaIdentify topics for a conference through in-depth market research (desk, phone and face to face)Identifying the target audience and finding out what they want / need to knowDevelop commercially viable conference program that will offer networking and knowledge transfer opportunities for paying delegates, sponsors and speakersAbility to analyze the feedback forms and segregate topics in key buckets to later build agenda from the feedbackWork with internal teams (sales, marketing) to ensure success of the event

Speaker AcquisitionIdentifying high-level, influential industry experts and to speak at the conference. Speakers can play a huge part in attracting delegates to the conferenceBuild panel discussions ensuring that peer group of speakers is maintainedShare key agenda topic pointers with speakers before the conference to make them comfortable w.r.t typical questions that would be asked as part of the panelManage speaker expectations in terms of session construct

Support Marketing – Copy writingWriting promotional copy in the form of conference program and special attraction that requires highlight through digital marketingEnsuring all sales driven material that carries conference program focuses on maximizing delegate attendanceWork with marketing team to share with them the key insights that should be shared via digital marketing week after week

Onsite AttendanceAttending conferences to ensure excellent delivery and smooth running on the dayTo build relationships and shake hands with the people that helped shape your agenda

Skills:

To be a successful Conference Manager you need to have a strong academic background. You need to have a thirst for learning and research – but not just on Google You need to be able to pick up the phone or to go to a face to face meeting and extract the crucial information that your conference agenda needs.Conference Manager needs to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be building relationships with industry experts from the get-go. You will need to be adaptable in your approach, both when dealing with external stakeholder’s and when working with your internal teams. Not everyone responds the same. Be it to your audience, a speaker or your sales manager, your role is to help get a message across.
