Freelance Upwork Bidder – Remote
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Developer (Upwork BDE) to join our dynamic team. As a key player in expanding our client base, you will be responsible for bidding on projects and securing new business on platforms like Upwork and Your success will directly contribute to the growth of our business, which specializes in business analysis, data analysis, mobile app development, product management, DevOps, content writing, and cybersecurity services. If you're passionate about building relationships, crafting compelling proposals, and working independently, the job is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, Bid, and Win Projects:
Actively seek new business opportunities on Upwork and across our core service areas, including business analysis, data analysis, mobile app development, product management, DevOps, content writing, and cybersecurity. - Client Engagement & Requirement Gathering:
Communicate with potential clients to understand their project requirements, business goals, and challenges. Use this insight to tailor proposals that address their needs effectively. - Proposal Crafting:
Write customized, persuasive, and highly professional proposals that clearly demonstrate our expertise, showcase relevant past work, and provide a clear path forward for the client. - Bidding Process Management:
Efficiently manage and optimize the bidding process to increase the conversion rate from proposal submission to contract signing. To stay competitive, maintain a keen eye on trends and pricing. - Report and Analysis:
Track progress, client feedback, and win/loss rates, regularly reporting to management on key metrics and insights to improve the bidding process and refine strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven Experience:
A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in online bidding and business development on Upwork and , ideally for IT services. - Strong Communication Skills:
Excellent written communication skills, particularly in crafting compelling proposals and client communications. - In-depth Knowledge of IT Services:
A solid understanding of IT services, particularly in business analysis, data analysis, mobile app development, product management, DevOps, content writing, and cybersecurity, to effectively bid on relevant projects. - Negotiation Skills:
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively and ensure favorable terms for both the client and the company. - Self-Motivated & Target-Driven:
Ability to work independently, manage multiple proposals, and meet or exceed sales targets without direct supervision. - Results-Oriented:
Ability to analyze market trends, identify high-potential projects, and execute strategies that maximize success in securing contracts.
