Job Description – Data Engineer (Grid Dynamics) Grid Dynamics is a leading provider of technology consulting, agile co-creation, and scalable engineering solutions for enterprise clients. We specialize in cloud, big data, AI/ML, and digital transformation initiatives. We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong expertise in the Google Cloud stack Responsibilities: Data Extraction & Analysis Work with Google BigQuery / Google SQL to query and manipulate data. Develop scripts in Python, Go, or Perl to extract, transform, and update datasets. Experience with MapReduce frameworks is an advantage. Data Visualization Build reports and dashboards using Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio . Create effective visualizations to present findings and communicate insights clearly. Problem Solving & Pipeline Development Identify data engineering requirements and design scalable data pipelines . Use data to propose solutions and actionable recommendations. Performance Optimization Analyze SQL queries and stored procedures to enhance query performance. Apply techniques such as Indexing, Partitioning, Parallel Processing, Caching, Efficient Storage Formats (Parquet/ORC), and In-memory Computing . Scheduling & Automation Schedule and manage workflows using tools like Airflow, Dreampipe, or similar job schedulers . Release Engineering Support on-demand and scheduled release management processes for data pipelines.
