Position Title: Product Manager / Sr. Product Manager – OTC (Pharma)

Department: Marketing

Location: Head Office, (Mumbai)

Reports to: Head – Marketing (PMT)

Role Overview:

The Product Manager (OTC) will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for OTC brands to drive sales, market share, and profitability. The role involves close coordination with sales, medical, R&D, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure product success in the competitive OTC market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual and long-term marketing strategies for assigned OTC brands.
  • Identify consumer insights, market trends, and competitor activities to design brand positioning.
  • Oversee product launches, relaunches, and lifecycle extensions.
  • Monitor brand health and profitability, ensuring continuous growth.
  • Conduct consumer and trade research to identify opportunities.
  • Track OTC market dynamics, competitor strategies, and pricing trends.
  • Design ATL/BTL campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with creative and media agencies to drive impactful consumer communication.
  • Work with sales teams to develop trade marketing plans and support field execution.
  • Coordinate with regulatory, medical, and R&D for product compliance and innovation.
  • Prepare and monitor marketing budgets for assigned brands.
  • Measure ROI of campaigns and track sales performance against targets.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Pharma OTC / Consumer Healthcare marketing.
  • Expertise in brand building, consumer insights, and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects.
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or equivalent.
  • Min 4 years of experience in Product/Brand Management (preferably Pharma-OTC).
  • Proven track record of handling consumer brands and driving growth.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Market share growth of assigned OTC brands.
  • Achievement of sales and profitability targets.
  • Successful product launches and campaign effectiveness.
  • Consumer awareness and engagement levels.
