Meet our team - Product:
SiteRecon is the Amazon + Google Docs combination for maps. Users place an order to create a map. State-of-the-art AI does our data delivery with a humans-in-the-loop pipeline. This becomes the base-map to create survey notes, operations plans, cost estimates, and so on.
About the Market:
Although our technology applies to many applications especially related to the site-based operations industry, our Primary market is the landscaping industry in the United States, Canada, and Australia. The combined size of Industry in these 3 countries alone makes up a staggering $140B.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of project delivery which includes managing the production from start to finish, training team members for it, suggesting ways to improve productivity and developing best practices to ensure data quality.
Constantly look for and identify talent to be recruited.
Constantly look for, identify and screen GIS companies we can partner with to expand production capacity.
Training team members on different software platforms, data models and remote sensing data sources.
Work with different teams including sales, marketing, product, engineering and vision to support them with their objectives.
Perform quality reviews to ensure geospatial and content accuracy.
Proactively identify improvements to enhance the company’s GIS service to clients.
Develop own expertise and stay abreast of developments in GIS technologies.
Lead the growth and development of the Cartography Team through example. Provide & monitoring teams and create reports for high efficiency.
Work with other departments to understand requirements for using geospatial information.
Qualifications:
Graduate degree / One of more relevant certifications
Min. 4 years industry experience out of which more than 2 years should be in project management/team management role.
Proven expertise in managing client business requirements and expectations.
Ability to manage multiple vendors/service partners and their contracts.
Actively manage expectations, scope stakeholders to avoid delivery escalations.
Successful experience working directly with customers to resolve implementation / operational issues.
Working knowledge of various GIS tools and technologies.
Strong ability to communicate well in English, orally, and in writing.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and appropriately prioritise tasks, and keep abreast of the latest technology.
Must have:
Experience using QGIS, ArcGIS, CAD, Global Mapper, MS Excel.
