We are seeking an Email Retargeting Specialist to join our 100% remote marketing team. In this execution-focused role, you will set up and manage email remarketing campaigns to engage prospects and drive conversions. As our email marketing expert, your work will be crucial for driving engagement, building customer loyalty, and increasing sales through strategic communication and targeted content. You will have the opportunity to hone your skills and eventually grow into a strategic role, working alongside some of the best marketing minds in India in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Email Campaign Management: Design, build, and execute email retargeting sequences to nurture leads and re-engage prospects. This includes writing compelling copy, creating email templates, and scheduling automated follow-ups.
• High-Volume Sending: Utilize email marketing platforms (e.g., ExpertSender) to send thousands of emails per day while maintaining strong performance metrics (aiming for open rates above 20% and click-to-open rates of at least 2%). Ensure high deliverability through proper scheduling and domain/IP warm-up as needed.
• Segmentation and Personalization: Segment email lists and personalize content for different audience groups to improve relevance and response rates. Leverage data from campaigns (targeting US audiences) to tailor messaging that resonates with each segment.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Track and analyze campaign performance (delivery, open, click-through, and click-to-open rates). Generate insights and optimize campaigns by conducting A/B tests on subject lines, content, and send times. Adjust strategies in real-time to improve results.
• Deliverability & Compliance: Ensure high email deliverability by following best practices (maintaining list hygiene, authentication with SPF/DKIM, avoiding spam triggers) and compliance with email regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.). Quickly address any deliverability issues to keep our sender reputation strong.
• Multi-Channel Coordination: Collaborate with the broader marketing team to integrate email efforts with other remarketing channels such as SMS/text messaging and ringless voicemails. Ensure consistent messaging across channels and contribute ideas for a unified retargeting strategy.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in email marketing, including new automation tools and personalization techniques. Proactively implement innovative strategies to improve campaign performance and meet evolving industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: 2-4+ years of experience in email marketing , cold email outreach, or a similar role. Proven track record managing large-scale email campaigns with strong engagement (e.g. consistently achieving ~20%+ open rates and 2%+ click-to-open rates in cold campaigns).
• Email Marketing Expertise: Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms ActiveCampaign,ExpertSender is preferred (experience with similar tools like Mailchimp, SendGrid, HubSpot, etc. is also valuable). Deep understanding of how email platforms work and how to optimize for inbox placement and deliverability.
• Copywriting & Communication: Excellent written communication and copywriting skills to craft persuasive email content and attention-grabbing subject lines. Ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences, especially for a U.S. market readership.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret email metrics and user behavior data. Proficiency in using analytics dashboards or spreadsheets to track results, and A/B testing to inform data-driven decisions for campaign improvements.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience in the Legal Marketing/ or E-commerce sector (especially targeting U.S. markets) is a significant plus.
• Technical & Compliance Knowledge: Basic understanding of email technicalities like list segmentation, email deliverability factors, and email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM). Awareness of email marketing laws and privacy regulations; able to manage opt-outs/unsubscribes and ensure compliance.
• Remote Work Skills: Self-motivated and disciplined in a remote work environment. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple campaigns and tasks.

Additional Requirements

• Remote position: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection (multiple providers preferred) and power backup
• Willingness to be an individual contributor (IC) and take ownership of specific delivery metrics is a must.
