Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and visionary leader to head our Hardware Practice , driving technology innovation, business growth, and operational excellence . This role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise, business acumen, and strategic leadership , with hands-on experience in board design, PCB, silicon design, FPGA, firmware, high-speed digital, analog, and power design . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large engineering teams (100+ people) and delivering cutting-edge solutions in Networking, Storage, Telecom, Semiconductor, Medical Devices, OEM, and ODM industries. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with Agile Hardware Development , familiarity with OCP (Open Compute Project) design standards , and exposure to modern high-speed interconnects, power architectures, and emerging hardware design methodologies .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business & Leadership:

Own and drive solutions for the hardware business unit, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.

Lead and mentor a team of 100+ engineers across multiple hardware domains.

Define and execute a hardware strategy aligned with market trends and customer needs .

Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and operational efficiency .

Engage with C-suite executives, customers, and partners to drive business growth.

2. Technology & Innovation:

Oversee the end-to-end hardware development lifecycle , from concept to production.

Lead development in high-speed digital design, analog, power electronics, FPGA, and silicon design .

Ensure expertise in EDA tools from Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Synopsys , and others.

Define hardware architectures for next-generation networking, storage, semiconductor, and embedded systems .

Implement Agile Hardware Development practices for efficient and iterative hardware design.

Leverage OCP (Open Compute Project) standards for designing scalable, open-source hardware solutions.

Ensure compliance with PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, IEEE, IEC, ISO, UL, FCC, CE, RoHS , and other global standards .

Integrate AI, edge computing, and IoT trends into hardware solutions.

3. Industry Focus & Market Engagement:

Deliver solutions for Networking, Storage, Telecom, Semiconductor, Medical Devices, OEM, and ODM sectors.

Work closely with R&D teams, product managers, and global customers to develop market-driven solutions.

Engage in pre-sales, proposals, and technical consultations with clients.

Drive supplier partnerships and ecosystem collaborations .

4. Operational & Process Excellence:

Implement Agile Hardware Development for faster time-to-market and improved design flexibility.

Adopt OCP-compliant architectures for scalability, efficiency, and cost reduction .

Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements .

Optimize cost structures, quality, and supply chain for efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications & Experience:

20+ years of leadership experience in hardware design, engineering, and P&L management .

Proven ability to scale teams (100+ engineers) and drive business success.

Expertise in board design, PCB, silicon design, FPGA, firmware, high-speed digital, analog, and power design .

Strong command of EDA tools (Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Synopsys, etc.) .

Deep experience in Networking, Storage, Telecom, Semiconductor, Medical Devices, OEM, ODM .

Familiarity with OCP (Open Compute Project) standards and other modern hardware architectures .

Experience with Agile Hardware Development, iterative prototyping, and rapid product cycles .

Strong understanding of PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, IEEE, IEC, ISO, UL, FCC, CE, RoHS , and other compliance standards.

Excellent skills in business strategy, technology innovation, and customer engagement .
