Job DescriptionDetails1 Role - Japanese Bilingual - Senior Developer / Technical Lead2 Required Technical Skill Set - Core Java, Spring Boot, Node JS, My SQL database, Postgress database3 Desired Experience Range - 4 to 10 Years4 Location of Requirement - Chennai, PuneDesired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)Must-Have**(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)JLPT N3 or N2 certified. Fluent in reading, writing, and conversing in Japanese with native speakersMust have 5 to 10 years of IT experience in Application Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance projectsKnowledge and hands on experience in Java technologies including Core Java, Spring Boot, Node JS, My SQL database, Postgress database, NPM, Maven, VS Code, Intelli J Idea, Git HubAbility to effectively coordinate with Customer SMEs, Onsite and Offshore teamsActively involve in Application transition and stabilization phases by aligning to Japan (JST) working hoursAdvanced knowledge of designing and implementing APIs and integrations in insurance or financial systemsGood-to-HaveExposure on Agile methodology, Dev Ops, Security vulnerability management and P&C Insurance domain knowledgeFamiliarity with Open Shift, containerization, CI/CD (Jenkins, Git Hub), and Dev Ops practices.Exposure to test automation (Soap UI, Postman) and monitoring tools.Knowledge of distributed architecture, microservices, and Japanese insurance regulatory requirements.SNResponsibility of / Expectations from the Role1Fluent in reading, writing, and conversing in both Japanese & English languages to establish good coordination and communication with Customer, Onsite and Offshore teams2Ready to work in JST morning hours as required to extend the support for Application transition and stabilization phases of Application Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance projects3Actively involve in supporting architecture decisions, prepare design documents, coding, conduct code reviews, ensure code quality compliance, troubleshoot technical issues, defect fixes, successful build and deployments4Actively contribute towards various Transformation initiatives (Process maturity, Devops automation, Security vulnerability remediation, etc.) to achieve the project goals5Mentoring and guiding junior team members while assigning and tracking the tasks for closure without any schedule, quality and cost slippages6Develop backend components and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Node JS for core insurance processes.7Design and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration with frontend, third-party, and COTS platforms (Guidewire, Salesforce, etc.).8Collaborate with frontend, data, QA, and Dev Ops teams to deliver end-to-end digital solutions.9Utilize batch processing tools (Control-M, JP1, Job Scheduler) for scheduled insurance operations and reporting.
