About the Role

We are seeking a Team Leader who can conceptualize and execute complex problem statements in less than half the time that most people think is possible.

The incumbent will own the entire delivery of assigned projects, managing multiple projects involving 5–8-member teams.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring Project Delivery Metrics are controlled throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project requirements and implementation throughout different phases.
  • Participate in business meetings, reviewing contracts, carrying out risk analysis and mitigation exercises, and updating Management on the same.
  • Review and ensure preparation of System Architecture, External Specifications, Internal Specifications, Software Development Plan, Configuration Management Plan, and Project plan.
  • Ensure technical documentation and weekly status updates to all stakeholders.
  • Maintain process and system compliances in projects.
  • Exhibit excellent escalation management skills, internal or external.
  • Manage both FPP (Fixed Price Project) and T&M (Time & Material) projects on diverse functional domains.
  • C-coordinate and communicate with clients on project-related matters.
  • Coach/mentor team members, providing necessary support and performance appraisal/counseling.
  • Evaluate training needs (technical, managerial) and implement required training programs.
  • Ensure project compliance with Newgen Quality Systems and Procedures.
Qualifications
  • B.E/B. Tech.-CS/IT/MCA, M. Tech, or Equivalent degree from a reputed institute preferred, with 4-6 years of relevant industry experience.
Required Skills
  • Knowledge of SOAP/Rest API, Multithreading, Web Application concepts, Program/Logic writing, Data structure.
  • Good experience on Core Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB, Oracle/SQL Banking retail loan and MSB an advantage.
  • Database knowledge of table, stored procedure, functions, ability to write queries, primary key, unique key, joins, referential integrity, and normalization, performance tuning.
