Day-to-Day Responsibilities: - Providing support to improve independence by assisting with living skills, transport, social activities, medication, and personal care.- Keeping customer records up to date using online systems.- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with people, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders.- Assist in the development or implementation of client care plansTo Be Successful in This Role: You are punctual, friendly, non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate. You are invested in providing the highest quality in disability services and are competent in working with people with a disability. Requirements: - Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Individual Support or equivalent relevant experience - Valid NSW Drivers C class license, with the ability to drive vehicles in license class, including large cars and vans.- Must be fit to undertake the physical requirements of client support, including the capacity to lift 10kgs unassisted.- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and other common computer based systems.Desirable: - Experience in disabilities or mental health conditions- Advanced knowledge of services and programs under NDIS- Strong Understanding of Person-Centered Practices.Benefits: - Above award pay & penalty rates - Not for Profit Salary Packaging - Increase your take home pay.- Reward program that recognises your achievements.- Employee Assistance Program providing counselling services.- Fitness Passport- Support in growing your career through mentoring and professional development opportunities.
