JD :

- Understanding of Relational Database concepts & its Architecture.

- Good knowledge of OS commands including Unix & MS.

- Good knowledge on scripting (Perl, Shell, PowerShell etc.).

- Inform client of any major problems using Incident management.

- Regular database capacity planning related to Database growth and system utilization restricted to space management , trend analysis and predicting future database resource requirements.

- Experienced in Installing, Patching, Cloning and Maintaining different versions of Databases.

- Knowledgeable on various Backup Database utilities & Tools.

- Database and Application User Management.

- Good knowledge of ITIL Process.

- Good communication skills & Team co-ordination.

- General Administration such as user administration, Database refresh, decommission, space utilization, scheduling jobs in Database, maintaining standby Databases.

- Database performance management. Gathering statistics, executing performance monitoring scripts, operating system analysis.

- Ensure high Database availability. Support, maintain and backup RAC environment.

- Security and Compliance Management such as Patch Management and Version Control.

- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.

- Perform Database migration, upgrade and patch installation.

- Create and maintain technical and process documentation.

- Managing Team

- Responsible for installing & managing clusterware with multi nodes.

- Practical Knowledge on version upgrade & patching.

- Configuring & Managing Database Backup utilities & Tools.

- Responsible of Database recovery.

- Setting up HA/Standby and responsible for managing.

- Project Planning, Resource Planning and Mobilization.

- Escalation and Resolution management.

- Status reporting.

- Utilization

- Responsible for OTACE.

- Communication with other leaders and project coordinators.

- Client relationship management and internal interfacing for project requirements.

- Participation in system requirements and design reviews.

- Acts as point of escalation for customer.

- Provides leadership to group , does appraisal of team members.

- Independently handles projects - Sets goals and plan schedule for completion of projects.

- Actively manages the client relationship including commercials , risks and opportunities.

- Constant endeavor for cost effectiveness.

- Designing Solutions and Sales/Pre-Sales support.

Expected Skills :

- Ability to take the initiative.

- Ability to take the initiative and independently set schedule and priorities.

- Experience in managing multi stakeholders.

- Experience in managing People & Delivery and Project KPIs.

- Experience in writing SoW & Pricing.

- Good knowledge of general business practices and process flow.

- Project Management experience (involving project planning , KT plans , RFP responses etc ).

- Quick learner and strong listening skills with customer focused attitude.
