Assignment Description and Requirements
We are searching for a Technical Project Manager / Design Responsible for a Smart gear shift actuator in a customer project. The customer Is a leading international car manufacturer. The main task is to manage the Development activities within the project. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans outlining objectives, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor project progress, track tasks, and proactively identify and address issues or risks to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, testers, and other specialists involved in the development, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals and adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, promoting knowledge sharing and problem-solving to overcome technical challenges. Technical Expertise and Problem Solving:
- Apply deep technical knowledge of ECU architecture, embedded systems, software development, and automotive electronics to guide project activities and decision-making.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, conflicts, and dependencies that may impact project progress or deliverables, leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate design alternatives, assess technical feasibility, and optimize ECU performance, reliability, and scalability. Stakeholder Management and Communication:
- Serve as contact for stakeholders (esp. management), providing regular updates on project status, progress, and key milestones.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and facilitate effective communication channels to ensure alignment with project objectives and requirements.
Requirements Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience (5 years) in technical project management roles within the automotive industry, with a focus on ECU development or related areas.
- Strong understanding of automotive ECU architecture, embedded systems, software development lifecycle, and automotive electronics.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience with quality assurance processes, testing methodologies, and risk management practices.
Requirements
