Fund Raising Officer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated CSR Fundraiser to lead our fundraising efforts and manage corporate partnerships for our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies, securing financial resources, and managing partnerships to support our initiatives waste management & mental wellness programs. This role requires a strong commitment to social causes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fundraising & Partnerships:
• Lead and manage corporate partnerships, generating new CSR leads, and driving conversion.
• Develop and implement fundraising campaigns, ensuring financial resources are available for smooth program operations.
• Manage donor relations, ensuring long-term partnerships and meeting annual fundraising targets.

• Attend fundraising events and provide feedback reports to stakeholders.

• Portfolio Management:

• Conduct research, pipeline development, proposal co-creation, and monitoring & evaluation.
• Build partnerships with other funders and manage long-term portfolio strategy.

• Provide operational support for new CSR initiatives and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.

• Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations to support CSR initiatives.
• Assist in strategizing and strengthening CSR portfolios by evaluating new collaboration opportunities.
• Conduct due diligence on potential partners and service providers as per the assessment framework.

• Provide project management support to implementing agencies, ensuring project objectives are met and compliance is maintained.

• Project Design & Evaluation:

• Co-design project frameworks and monitoring mechanisms to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Drive CSR initiatives in coordination with business teams and other functional units.
• Develop content for communicating CSR updates to stakeholders through social media and company websites.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or relationship management within the non-profit or corporate sector.
• Strong commitment to social causes, especially in waste management.
• Experience in grant-making, impact investing, or venture philanthropy models.
• Ability to lead partnerships, manage legal agreements, and attend fundraising events.
• Experience working closely with public sector organizations is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to work autonomously, make independent decisions, and take responsibility for outcomes.
• Strong leadership, project management, and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of social issues/ waste management in India and government support schemes is preferred.
• Service-oriented mindset with high emotional intelligence and empathy.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal communication and fluency in English and the regional language.
• Knowledge of legal, social, technical, and regulatory requirements in the CSR domain.
