We need an expert senior full stack MERN engineer for a long-term engagement. NOTE: If you have LESS THAN 7 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE as a MERN Stack engineer, do not apply. Under no circumstances will you be selected for an interview. We need an expert senior full stack MERN engineer to join our team. To be qualified as a expert level developer, you will need proven experience writing high quality, optimized code. You must: be a high performer be trustworthy work well as part of a fully remote, distributed team based in India fit into our team culture and add value to our culture Interviews Up to three interviews may be conducted to verify your qualifications: A screening interview to review your resume An on-camera technical interview where you will demonstrate your coding skills for FE and BE skills. If you pass the technical interview (1.5% pass), we will schedule a personal interview (non-technical) to determine whether you would be a culture fit on our team. Tech stack • Structure: Micro-service architecture • Front end: ReactJS • Back end services: Typescript, using frameworks such as Koa, Express, Typegoose, etc. • Our services communicate using gRPC protocol • Storage layer: MySQL & MongoDB • Development tools: JIRA, Github, Github CoPilot (other AI tools), Slack Skills & Requirements • Demonstrated expertise with MERN stack • Proven experience as an efficient, expert engineer • Able to create architectural patterns for a large, scalable web application • Experience with GraphQL • Experience with gRPC protocol • Experience with MySQL/RDS • Experience with Github • Experience with JIRA & AWS • Experience writing Unit Tests for your work (We use Jest) • Experience using AI tools • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and a strong interest in developing AI-driven features Responsibilities/Requirements • Attend daily stand-up meetings on Zoom at 9:00A IST. • Collaborate with our existing team in India (IST daytime), share knowledge and experience, conduct code reviews and architecture reviews, enforce software engineering best practices • Write well-documented code and follow best practices • Write unit tests for your work product • Be available full-time during IST daytime hours Resume/CV Submit your resume in PDF format only.
