We engineer solutions that deliver long-term peace of mind to our customers and colleagues, creating time and space to work together to advance global connectivity.Main Purpose: You will be helping to deliver state-of-the-art smart antenna design, standard & custom antenna integration and design projects as well as help with R&D functions within the group. Also you will be responsible for design and test of RF circuitry for radio products, active antennas and antenna systems. You will also lead a small team of engineers.Reporting to: VP of EngineeringResponsibilities:To design and develop antennas mainly from (but not limited to) 100MHz to 6GHz. Ability to design and develop antennas for mmWave application would be a plus and desirableKnowledge in communication standards such as CDMA, GSM/GPRS, UMTS, HSPA, LTE, EDVO, WIFI, GPS, EDGE, 5G, UWB, GNSS and others.To create and/or approve antenna specifications.Work with VNA’s, Far Field anechoic chamber, spectrum analyzer and other RF equipment.Work with Sales, R&D, Management, Production, Mechanical, Noise Control departments.To solve and support certification issues on wireless devices with customers.To suggest improved PCB layouts to help customers improve RF performance.Ability to coordinate projects from initial customer meetings all the way to pilot production runs, including assisting in QC documentation, test standards, etc.Knowledge of design of RF subsystems, such as LNAs, filters, diplexers, power amplifiers etc is a desirable.As a senior engineer you will be responsible to Look after the engineering team and test facilities and provide updates to your manager.Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;

Masters or PhD degree in ElectricalEngineering or related field is preferred.7 - 10 years of Antenna/RF designElectromagnetic simulation experience such as CST, HFSS and ADS.Ability to use RF test equipment and perform passive and active tests.Ability to consider all possible variables and challenges at the beginning of a custom antenna design for any wireless device.Fully understand different antenna technologies such as Dipoles, Monopoles, Helical, Loop, Yagi, PIFA, etc. Including features, restrictions, integration considerations, advantages, disadvantages, etcDesign of matching circuit or filters with CAD and in Lab.Hands on experience with spectrum analysers, network analysers, schematic capture, and PCB layout.Knowledge with AutoCAD, MATLab, CAM350, Altium, Solidworks is a plus.Exposure to Design for manufacture and design for Assembly.Able to link the antenna performance to system level performance and understand how to optimize the system performance.Other Skills & Abilities include: Be self-motivated, able to work in a team environment.Open to fast paced work style and results driven.Willing to travel overseas for periods if necessary.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience working in a Global team desirableAbility to multi-task, plan, execute and deliver on projects in a timely manner with good problem-solving skills.Proven ability to be able to pursue and complete projects on your own with minimal supervision.
