Role Overview:
The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial activities, ensuring accurate monthly and annual reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, audit coordination, internal controls, and the management of financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly Closing: Oversee the monthly financial closing process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Quarterly & Annual Financial Statements (FS): Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Audit Management: Manage the external audit process and ensure all audit-related activities are completed smoothly and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR): Implement and monitor effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
- Internal Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal auditors to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and support any internal audit activities.
- CARO Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Companies (Auditor's Report) Order (CARO) regulations and manage related disclosures.
- Fixed Assets Accounting: Manage the accounting and reporting of fixed assets, ensuring proper tracking, depreciation, and compliance with relevant accounting policies.
- SAP Master Data Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of master data within SAP to ensure accurate financial reporting and operations.
- Banking Relationships: Maintain and manage relationships with banking partners, ensuring smooth financial operations and efficient cash management.
- Vendor Payments & Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor payments and manage reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in finance and accounting in a similar role.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, audit coordination, and internal control management.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial systems (including SAP), and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
